Pro street 64 nova twin turbo LQ4

I'm getting close, I just have some more fuel lines to run and finish the exhaust and buy hp tuners and it will be ready to run
Ive got a couple more questions
I am getting a th400 tranny does it need to have a full manual valve body
to shift correctly with boost?
for my turbo oil drain line I ran a -10 45 degree fitting off the turbo facing\
forward and looped it back to the pan will this be too restrictive?

Hi Novaray,
Nice ride. I am doing the same thing in my 74 camaro. I am running a LQ4 with wiseco forged pistons, h beam rods, ARP rod bolts and main studs and head studs, with twin MPT70's, 317 heads, very similar cam specs, built turbo 400 trans with brake, 3.73 rear end for a lot of street and 1/8th mile strip runs. I was thinking of running twin MPT70's for about 1200 flywheel hp (960rwhp) on pump gas and meth injection with air to air intercooler. I like the pro flo XT intake and I am painting my car the same color as your engine bay! Its a red orange with the dual wide white Z28 chevy racing stripes on the fiberglass cowl hood and trunk deck. The paint is actually 93-95 ford mustang vibrant red pain code ES. It is really a red orange, but they call it a vibrant red. It really pops. I wish my car was as light as yours! lol But 1200 hp should go pretty good at about a 3400 lb race weight with my 200 lbs in it.
For my money building a twin set up is easier for welding up the hot side and exiting into dual exhaust under the car. And the twins intercooler makes the cold side much easier too. Plus you may get quicker acceleration and a lot of total hp.
The Black pro flo XT looks great in your engine bay. About how much were your turbos? I know the twin MPT70's are about 550.00 each. Thinking of running a .68 exhaust housing to make them spool real quick on the street for fun almost instant acceleration, yet stil have enough to go good at the track too. I am looking for high to mid 5's in the 1/8th and high 8's in the quarter. Great looking ride dude!

Full manual valve body and brake
The best way to have a fast track and street car is to do a full reverse manual valve body and trans brake. The trans brake will shave off roughly a half second in et cause you can really build boost at launch and launch hard.
The reverse manual valve body is good so you dont accidently shift into nuetral hard shifting when your excited wth the adrenalin flowing going down the track. You can always disable the trans brake with a remote arming switch. So if you accidentlily hit or brush the button driving on the street it is not armed and will not activate. It cost a little more, but turbo 400's overall are cheap to build and very stout and make your car a lot faster at the track once built right.

What fuel pressure should I be running, right now its set a 43 psi. This is my
first time messing with fuel injection. I got hp tuners did a little reading and was able to get it started on the first try, it runs a little rich now I can start playing with the tune. does anyone have the injector flow data for siemens 80lb injectors? I am using a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator and put
80 in the injector flow rate table in hp tuners

ok, thanks
Is there any advantage to running a higher fuel pressure other than raising the flow rate of the injector?

How fast do you plan on running in the quarter? What kind of rpm do you want to peak @? I think 3.70 - 3.90 range would be a reall good mix of performance and cruise without OD for the street. My converter is closer to 4k and seems to work pretty well for me. I would look at the tci super street fighter if you wanna go off the shelf.
