It would be a custom piston to use a larger stroke in 5.3, cost would get out of control.

We warranty 90 days on the workmanship and yes you explained it, I don't have control over many variables, basically if you get the motor and say your not happy with something, we can work it out.

With those numbers the 5.3 block can be punched out to 3.905 without any problems. There is a guy on TurboForums with a turbo Nova that did it and made over 1k to the tires with a 5.3 block/All pro heads and Arp standard sized studs(Bottom end/ Heads). Condsidering people throw those blocks away around here I am suprised more people haven't thrown these together more often. Thanks for the valuable Info!

If you own a machine shop it might be worth it... but for most people the cost of boring it and stuff you'd be right at the cost of a 6.0 which is bigger. I was just looking into this also. from a 5.3 to a 5.7 it is 21ci ? not worth all the machine work, and if you're going through that much to gain cubes....get a 6.0

That 3.83 bore 5.3L sounds like an awesome engine to build for FI.
Wonder what it would do with a pair of GT-35's ot Precision TA-5557's?
