actually good point.. this set up.. since it is directly underneath the wheel centers, will move up as the car moves up and over a speed bump.. unlike anything between the wheels

you're right, like i said george is the man

After Robs stock motor combo and this, I'm starting to think that heads/cam with a ls1 turbo is not that big of a deal

Hehehe...I believed ya, I was just amazed. Put a cutout on that sucker, and make sure the flapper valve is SOLID.

lol, i dont want a cutout! i dont want any more hp! cant afford to break it, im happy!

if i wanted more hp there is plenty left in the turbo too much for me.

it took 6 straps, 2 fat guys in back and 285 drag radials to keep it on the dyno in 4th.. i wont have that luxury on the street

(no offense to the fat guys, ya'll did great!)

Great work Dave and George!! Those are some great numbers and a good looking install. I will have to ask Wade what we sold you again

Congrats and enjoy

Oh, we have the fix for the heads; you don't need the cast ones

nick, long time no see! this is still the motor you gave me!! and obviously its working awesome! i sent the heads back to get the tapered valves out and a set of heavy duty big valves, but thats it.

going to have to be in touch on the heads if i want to make more i guess.. wade told me this shortblock had been as high as 750rw before.. well make that 775

never in my wildest dreams would i have thought about this kind of power.. kinda second guessing that stock crank.. i guess i'll find out sooner or later, hopefully later as my piggy bank is broke!

its an innovative turbo pro-gate, have no idea for sure if thats what george has in mind for production.

When are they gonna have a price up for that race system? Hopefully not too much more than the standard Fbody kit.

What kind of boost levels do you think you could support on a 100 octane tune compared to the 115? This the gas I will be using, still deciding on the mototrons or the 57's, I need your help.....

I'm still trying to bring my jaw back up to level after seeing those #'s......

Not bad on the spool time either. Even though you are only going to have about 2k rpms of full boost, you will still have monster area under the curve. Can't wait for initial driving impressions.

i was goign to ask you if that was through exhaust, you can break 800 easy if you just put a cutout on it.
that full boost (least at 10psi) at 3k rpm through full exhaust for the 80 isnt that bad either.

DO you think you can push it further with the 115 octane and more boost, or do you think thats all she has with the current octane.

also what were your IAT with and without ice.

You may get me sold on this turbo thing on day I would want to run a few thin bars or something on the bottom just in case you hit a pothole or something.

840 rwtq is nasty.Do you plan on running ET Streets all the time?I can't imagine driving a car with that much power every day.You should be able to own pretty much any car driven on the street.
