Estimate on what RWHP will be
On a stock 98 trans am with ARH LT's And a twin intercooled procharger D-1SC with 10psi? Other things will be added(heads, cam, etc etc.) but just as a base number with only the procharger and headers what do you guys think?
Thanks
Thanks

More than that. I wouldnt run 10 PSI on a stock internals LS1, it's a little too much for them, you're risking it at that. 8 PSI should be safe until you can upgrade to forged rods and pistons.
To give an example, buddys Camaro with a 3.5" twin intercooled P1SC made 520 rwhp with only 5.5-6lbs of boost, LTs, true duals, custom grind cam, (just remembered you'd be running stock cam so I may actually retract my first statement) and a few other small things, stock heads.
I wouldn't put on a supercharger without having a cam meant for boost first, but that's just me. I can't blame you for wanting that whistle though If it were at 10 PSI with stock cam, I would agree, probably around 500

Don't listen to the "magic" number for boost pressure. As long as you don't get to greedy you'll be ok. It depends more so on the tune, steady fuel pressure and RPM. Don't spin the motor to the moon and it'll do ok. I have over 50K on the setup in my sig with no problems. I dd'd it for most of that time as well. She's well weathered and beat on lol 10psi with a good tune only spinning it to 6200 will be ok. Also remember that the 98's had weaker rod bolts.

Wait everybody to some posts, I am meaning only numbers with the procharger and headers, I am getting a forged motor, rods pistons, cam heads tranny 9"..all the works to make it right, I am jw what the power would be with only procharger and headers. But got some ideas that are around 500-550 so thats pretty good for me.

With a stock bottom end I would shoot for 8 psi of boost. With headers and exhaust you will be in the 500 to 550 rwhp range depending on the dyno you're on. Bob

a forged ls1 347 from texas speed, along with FLT level 5 4L65E, 9" rear from brute speed, Im thinking 205cc heads from texas speed, cam not sure yet maybe torquer v.2 if that works well with the procharger.
Last trans am i had was a 2000 P1SC procharger with american racing headers and at 7psi it hit only 375-385 RWHP on a mustang dyno and i know that something was wrong with motor but didnt have anymore cash so it was good enough for me. but 500 and maybe over 600 with heads and cam? that would be awesome.

My 2002 Z28 M6 would be a good reference point for you: Bone stock 11K mile motor. FLP long tubes+Y pipe, Magnaflow, BBK 80mm TB, 60# Siemens Deka injectors, Walbro GSS340. Tuned by Reckart.
Hitting 10# of boost: 546/506 through a Moser 12 bolt w/4.11's on a Dynapack. Dyno and tuning session in the Texas heat. 97* ambient temp in the shop that day. Don't want to get up and look for the IAT numbers. Very conservative tune due to bone stock motor. Wanted it to live rather than get an extra few horsepower. Could make a higher number if I dyno'd it right now in winter but don't care enough to do it.
