It appears to be right where the AC runs. I might be wrong but I don't think so. The kit being fabbed for me requires the AC be deleted. KYTP and I believe Modular Turbo make kits that retains AC but they do not sit in that location. The turbo being there puts it directly in the line of the AC system. It also requires that the battery be relocated.
Don't want to seem like I'm speaking for Brad but we seem to have somewhat similar setups

If I had used a different manifold on the passenger side perhaps I could have retained the ac. Regardless it's gone, and I have a 100 amp powermaster small body alternator going down there with a kit from aeicnc. The turbo is a bullseye power s375r 75mm. It has the newest billet batmowheel and the latest compressor cover with a 1.3 a/r vbanded bep housing and an upgraded 87mm turbine wheel. This turbo should produce some numbers to rival turbos as large as an 88. It has a smaller much more efficient compressor wheel and a turbine that should let a large v8 breath well. The hope is for a street car that spools like a 70 series turbo and makes power like the big 80's with a fat power band. I guess we will all see.
For updates, I got the radiator installed last night, but for some reason my camera didn't save the pictures. That's about it. Tons of parts came in yestarday and more today and tomorrow, so this thing should really start to take shape.

Last night i made some tweaks to the hotside. I had to change it around a tid-bit to fit the alternator kit in. I didn't intend on running this setup, but a couple cuts and another bend and it's golden. I also installed the damper. I have been battling modification to my installation tool to get this thing on, but it's finally finished. Filling up my argon bottles tonight and hoping to get some good progress on my "emissions" down pipe and intercooler plumbing. I'm sure i'll have some pictures tomorrow morning.

Ok... few more pictures. Things moving along nicely, and the count-down is on! Fans mounted in the front of radiator which was nice. 4-3 inch downpipe for emission purpses (has a built in spiral muffler). Some intercooler plumbing done too, and a fabricated radiator hose.

Thanks for the comments guys! Few more items taken care of last night, and a couple more pictures. Got my bump steer kit so I don't have to drill my spindles for the manual rack conversion. Welded my narrow band bungs in and started to add my braces for the merge collector.

Ok... more progress last night. I finished opening up the bumper cover for the intercooler, and finished it off with some vinal edge bead. I also welded the bov flange on and installed all the parts I had finished so far. I finished my idler setup for the waterpump belt, which consisted of a laser cut plate a couple cap screws, 2 aluminum stand-offs and a new 6 rib idler from napa. I had to make a bushing to adapt the pulley to the right offset, but all looks well and I made some measurements for a belt size. I'm getting down to the tail end of this project. I only have a handful of items left to finish this setup off. Can't wait!
