turbo downpipe question..

Default turbo downpipe question..

im building a t76 turbo setup for my 99 trans am..im now at the point where i need to build a downpipe..but it will have to come through the drivers side of the k member..question is...HOW have you ran your downpipe through this area?...im using a 3.5 in pipe..ive moved the p/s lines out of the way..but the engine mount and k member are a tight fit..and no i cant get a tubular k member at the moment..THANKS IN ADVANCE..

maybe only 3in or no ac....just installed my bmr turbo k member, all i have to say is pick one up and youll thank me later....

btw im kinda freaked out how many turbo ls1 cars there are with in 15 miles from me!

heres how my old kit went and it kept everything, i dont know how much bigger is possable depending on turbo location

i may havta bump it down a notch and run 3 in. :\ and eventualy get a turbo k member and run my 3.5 in pipe then..ac is GONE..lol one of the first things i gutted..i now know of about 4 turbo trans ams in a 15 miles radious as well..lol are you on THECHICAGOGARAGE.COM?

no...? never heard of it...but im building 2 one off turbo kits now and my buddys doing another! im switching from a 76gts to twin mp70s and my buddys gettin a mp70 truck kit. but this time around im doing it all!!! lol I mocked up the k member, and with that sucker i can fit 2 4in dps. Its weird how much extra room you get with it.

have you got solid motormounts? i have a set and that would clear up some room

actually i was considering gettig some spohn solid mounts to clear up some room.the ones with the top and bottom plate and the bar in the middle..selling ones like that?

BMR turbo k-member is awesome. I got a 4" dp on passenger side and could fit a 5.
