Default questions about C6 manifolds for LS1 turbo build

I bought a set of C6 LS2 exhaust manifolds off of Ebay to use one on my passenger side for the turbo plumbing. My first question is what do I plug these holes with (I am assuming it is for an O2 sensor or something)?

Secondly, where can I get a two bolt flange for this to weld to my plumbing? The spacing of the two bolts center-to-center is ~ 4 3/8".

Thanks!

Hmm...seems like unusual placement, but ok.

so, just put a cut down bolt in that hole and call it a day. thats what i did. i cut it down because I couldnt find that bolt in the correct length.

I got custom made flanges from smi fab

http://smifabandcnc.com/gallery.php?...etteflange.jpg

they were like 40 bucks shipped for the pair, and he can make them with any size hole you want.

I'm going the c6/truck manifold route. But I plan on hacking the flanges off and going with some vband clamps.

Interesting - it doesn't look like there is much to hack off on these.

If it comes down to it I'll probably just keep the flange on the c6 manifold.

Is there a problem with where these o2 bungs are at? I mean they obviously work for the Corvettes from which they came, it just puts the o2 sensor much closer to the exhaust ports on the head than I recall seeing before.

I'm interested to see what happens with these manifolds as they just might do the trick for my build!

I am using these for my Datsun 280ZX ls1 turbo build. I used 2 left side manifolds for mine though. One points forward and the other points backwards. Both are facing up though.

Why two passenger manifolds? I wondered if they would work turned upward in an fbody since they seem to be more compact, but I had doubts about clearance, especially with an SS hood. With the engine out of the car, it makes it even harder to gauge.

Looks like a sweet setup!

In my car the RH manifold flipped upsided down and pointing forward on the passenger side it was too close to my strut tower. I debated notching the tower but I didn't really like the idead of cutting metal out to make it fit. This worked much better for me. They are deffinetly a compact design.

Yeah, I'm thinking about using both the C6 manifolds now instead of just the one on the passenger side with a truck manifold on the driver's side. They're brand new and purdy lookin'.
