Default Where else can I get oil for turbo feed?

Can I get oil from the old oil sensor hole top/back of block? Reason being is because my electronic gauge pick up will be by oil filter thing where everyone else gets oil from. Or any other ideas?

Do what we did, we ran a -4 line from that spot over the filter to a block that has two 1/4" NPT fittings on it. One for the gauge, and one with a -4 adapter for the turbo. I have to look to see if I have any pics.

I could poss run a T but this sending unit from Autometer is huge and personally I don't like using T fittings for fluid flow....especially for turbo oil. But If I can keep the sending unit low and outta sight and get oil from back of block then I'll be golden

yea true that... well if i got room ill do that but can i NOT use the OEM oil pressure sensor hole since it will be blocked off anyways? Rather use it and not deal with "T" fitting b.s. ya know.

You can also get it at the plug that is in the block on the drivers side front near the oil pan rail.

Check out Modular Turbo's LS1 oil distribution block. It replaces the plug setup by the filter, with 2 outlets.

check out Kurt Urban's setup. It seems to be a lot better solution.

You can run your oil feed from the hole down by the filter then just buy the adapter to stick in the hole up top to put in the oil sender. Our experience has been that the electronic oil senders don't like the heat down there by the filter. Specially if the DP will be running out that side.

Yes you can, it's M20x1.5

I use this hole for my oil pressure gauge and tee in -4 to my supercharger. Well at least I did with my old LS6 block

Just get an M20x1.5 to -4 adaptor.

For current LS2 block I just drilled and tapped the valley cover to accept a fitting to use the same oil supply.

what is the cost of the "proper" adapter?ie, what was the cost of your setup.
I might use it in the future.

also, where do I find this adapter? I looked on summit and the only 20mm to AN adapters they show are big sizes , ie 12an etc

I buy all my stuff from Earls ( although the two takeoffs shown are not Earls simple because one was pre-supplied and the other a bodge for my oil pressure gauge )

Although the red hose has now been replaced by Earls ProLite

If it isnt listed on their website, just phone them
