Default Boost controller

I did a searchy, searchy and came across a few different threads...including this
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...ontroller.html

I'm trying to find a good boost controller. I've owned the Greddy Profec B Spec II, and I think its junk. I sold it and bought an AEM solenoid and ran it my AEM ECU in my Talon. However, I don't think HP Tuners has this capability. Do I not have a choice now, but to run a MBC (Manual)? Stupid decisions. Seems to me that the AEM Tru Boost gauge is more complex then I like. I was thinking about this.....http://www.boostcontroller.com/index.php?category=5. What do you think?

AMS-500 with CO2. Rock solid boost control and VERY simple.

Eboost2, ams-500, and ams-1000....

price and capability differences are many so call for more info.

1. AMS-1000 $950
2. Eboost2 $540
3. AMS-500 $499

thats my opinion of their order of capability, it just so happens that it coincides with their pricing LOL

AMS 500 seams to be idiot proof. Simple diagrams labeled wire connectors on the boost controller. SIMPLE

Im running my Eboost with twin 4 port solenoids(one for each wastegate) and they have the capability of running my 5lbs springs up to 40lbs....so boost by gear will be nice.

we have been running a eboost 2 in my buddies car but have switched to the ams 1000 which looks to be alot easier to operate since it works with lbs instead of percent of boost

what exactly does c02 do ? guessing its carbon dioxide in a bottle that can put pressure on the waste gate to prevent boost from opening them or operating higher pressure springs at lower boost?

sounds interesting if that is it . if not maybe an overcomplicated idea.

im also looking for a good boost controller that i can control in psi rather than percentages. the eboost2 is top of my list as well but id love to have something i can fit in my 2 1/16 (52mm) gauge holder. (eboost 2 is 60mm or 2 5/8)
