I will just say this, I have NO experience with these kits and I asked this same question over on ls1.com and the response was uh, Hell no!!! I'm assuming the response over here would be the same. the kits do work but I have heard they take along time to spool up and the piping is under sized. Good luck.

Go front mount and don't look back. You'll thank yourself later. Hit up Josh@KYTP to get some ideas of what front mount kits would fit your budget and needs

Sts is a good base kit, you can get yourself a custom rear mount if you have a good shop like i did.

Had an sts kit on my truck. I have gotten rid of every peace except the scavage pump. With the money I spent 6 or 7 years ago i could have got a good front mount kit.

Im still running a rear mount because I thought it would be cheaper. Wrong still would have been cheaper to get a new kit that mod my existing. Their boost controller suck. their meth kit sucks. The pcv set up sucks. If you go with one make sure you get a good pcv set up so you dont boost your crank case.

If your gonna put the kit on and nothing else than im sure youll be fine. If you want to mod or make more power dont get it. They give you worm gears instead of t-bolt clamp. They also give you non rolled pipe, so its easy to blow a cold side pipe off. Learn from my ignorant mistakes. Youll spend more in the end I did.

I had an intercooled sts setup on my LT1 car. I didnt think it spooled real slow. Overall it was decent setup on a daily driver. People loved the way it sounded. The oil return setup did give me problems and irritated the crap out of me. Wrapping the Y pipe and exhaust all back and keeping the factory exhaust manifolds will also help spool times. If you could find a used setup to play with it would be alright but I would definately give Josh @ Kentucky Turbo a shout about a front mount setup before I spent the money to buy a new STS setup.
