New kit looks and performs great. I think I met you at Don's a while back when you were talking to him about the upgrade. I stopped in quick and Don helped me with my tune.

You selling the old kit? I keep thinking about adding 5psi to my current setup. Maybe a small turbo.

Well it finally seems like we're all doing decent. Tom's setup seems to be doing pretty dam good. Your build (minus a built engine) seems like it's gonna do well and mine should be done shortly as well. When are you heading out this way again?

The car did come out very nice. Black plague takes most of the credit since he did most of the work at our shop. We did alittle bit of the work but mostly advise on how it goes from our past experience doing these kits. This setup mimics one of our F-body builds from 2005 and that car is still going strong with no problems.

AHH the good ole days

Did some more work on her today , Washed the under the hood inner fenders surrounding the motor, resprayed them black and cleared them.

Gotta try to get good pics of the wastegate merge back into the downpipe. and cleaned up engine bay pics.

All the pics I'm about to post were still during the build process

.
victor jr setup is a "cant go wrong" setup IMHO. performance AND looks.
Also the ultra low profile elbow was modified by gutting out the divider on the inside. After all was said and done, plugs are still perfect and uniform, so sofar so good.[/QUOTE]

curious as to why u would cut out the divider in the elbow? They put that there for a reason. its even more critical with that low profile elbow. cool build though.

They installed the divider to split the airflow for natural cars. The elbow is rated at 400 crank hp max and we saw that on a NA car when it killed 100rwhp. Pulling it out greatly improves airflow and doesn't affect the air split when the car is boosted.

Yes sir......100% Completely stock shortblock. Not recomended of course but again, im a firm believer in that longevity is in TUNE. its when things go wrong, youll find the weak spots. My plan is to run this short block for one more year then do a forged one next year. Let us pray
