Default Turbo Tech Kit questions?

I am looking at the Turbo Technology kit for my car and had some questions.

Do I need to upgrade any fuel components?
My car is lowered with Eibach sportlines..is there any clearance issues?
How well bult are these kits?
What needs to be relocated?
Is there any notorious problems with these kits?
I have access to edit..and a good tuner; will this be enough?
Any valve train issues that I should be concerned about or upgrading?
Any other input you guys may have would be great!
(and yes I did read some previous posts!)

Regards.

are you looking at a new or used kit?
the new ones come with a 3" DP, tranny X-over for both manual and auto, and bigger primaries on the log.

i have clearence issues with my custom x-over the tranny, its 2.5" diameter, think there is somewhat of a clearence problem with the under tranny xover, but just like long tubes have.
your altinator and egr/airpump has to be relocated.

you'll need to upgrade your fuel system if you want to make over 420rwhp
you might want to upgrade your springs, seems like it helps out alot.

its a good kit if you want to make 500ish rwhp, but if you go beyond that you need to upgrade soem componets
like the wastegate, intercooler, i had to upgrade the DP and xover cause my used kit came with the 2.5" DP and around the front of the engine x-over.

Yeah,
Pretty much what smoking hawk, said, I have upgraded the intercooler and piping, and am getting the new crossover from TTi, and also the 3" down pipe. I am hoping to make some serious power at around 15psi with it.

I am hoping to see the limitations of their log, anybody want to make a guess

I was looking at the one that is for sale on this board.
I had previously considered going with this kit and have reak a few thing about it. You said that I should get upgraded springs...why I am doing that, would a larger cam help out as well? I want to keep the streetability of my car as an everyday driver and it is a M6. Do you guys think that the kit posted up on here is worth the $2500?

the kit is worth 2500, I paid less for mine, but it was the 60-1 kit and I had plans to upgrade it anyways.

should be a good street kit

and yeah I figured there would be boost creep

$2500 is a good price
i paid $3000 for my T76 kit including the missing parts i had to buy seperate.

a cam isnt really needed to much, look at the power Rob R is making with his kit stock cam, all he did was upgrade the springs which is why i suggested that to you
that should help your power band from dropping off to quick in the upper rpms.

you need springs depending on how much boost you make, as the valve has to fight against the boost to close the valve. and the exhaust valve has to fight against the exhaust pressure to close the valve.

also looking at that kit, the only thing i question is why doesnt it make power like the QMP kit, at like 6lbs they are putting down close to 500 rwhp and even more torque. just curious, wanting to go turbo but want to get a good one

hard question really.
QMP uses better quallity parts, like the wastegate is rated for 700-800rwhp (let rob correct me on how much)
better intercooler, the TTi intercooler isnt good for over 500rwhp, my IAT are higher for what they should be.
other then that Rob manages to set up/tune his cars well.
A few members here who installed it themselves or had other shops install it had problems with the kit, with one of them being they wernt getting the power out of them that was claimed, they were running close results to that of the TTi kits (think a little higher though)
This is one of the main Reasons why QMP only installs it when they sell it only. But Rob manages to installl tune it correctly (what he does i dont know) but it makes the power that he promises.
