Yes. you can run a wastegate on the charge pipe with a supercharger. While I would not use it to control total boost I would use it to cut power down low to get down the track. I would not use it to cut more than 3-6# of boost, change pulley size at that point.
I guess in an application like that it can work, but it seems like a major loss of efficiency at that point...but I guess you're using it to scrub boost so the intent is to lose power...losing efficiency does that right?

Thats why I said not to do it if you plan on cutting more than 3-5# of boost, just up the pulley size.
