as much as I hate the noisy procharger, we have installed quite a few, and they are self contained when it comes to the oiling system. I also am not a big fan of the filter being over the top of the drivers exhaust manifold, we usually relocate this on the trucks. My vote goes to the procharger....

STS kits r a waste of time. Thats why u see them for sale all the time, I may be wrong but I think the turbo they send with the kit has lots of problems. Stick with the procharger and don't look back

I have read bad things about the pumps that supply oil to the turbo on the sts kits. Can't say for sure because I have never owned an sts kit, but that is what I hear. I would go procharger....but I'm a little bias

Dont waste your time. Stay procharger. Had an sts kit. still have a rear mount im finishing up. I have removed everything from the sts kit except the oil return pump. The sts kit has No beaded pipe, no pcv, crappy meth system. Thats just off the top of my head. I would be cheaper in the long run to go front mount.

STS (not rear mounts) are incredibly inefficient, look terrible, contain sub-par arts, and is the worst designed "mass produced" kit ever. In no way, shape, or form, am I saying rear mounts don't/can't work. Im saying STS as a kit is terrible.

Stay procharger, or sell your car and buy a C6 vette.

my wifes dad has a sts on his 05 c6, oil pump took a **** on him less than 500 miles after install. Car runs good though, love the sound..My vote however is for the procharger. Only issue I have seen is belt slip as belt gets old. I would go with procharger, trust me you wont regret it.

If you're building a forged engine I would go with the F-1A head unit, which is an option in the above link. I also have an option to delete the fuel pump and injectors, since you have a Lonnies system. Bob

my rearmount made good power... it started life as an STS but i replaced all the crap parts and its been good to me. once my brother sells me his 1990 GTA im going to do an LSX swap and go procharger just so i can have both a rear mount turbo car and a procharged car.
