Well, at 2:30 am this morning I finished the body except for the front splitter and side cf add ons. Went to snap a few quick pictures and threw the belt(BROKE!) and the car also is hitting a wall at 4900 rpm on boost or not but paint is 95%(small things like decals, touch ups, emblems and front splitter to install). But, will be driving it some this week!


I WILL get it straight though!!! Ideas on belt? Imma check alignment and SC shaft play first.....

Hoping the 4900 RPM wall is timing related.... Its 15 everywhere right now.

I agree, it looks great! I bought a new Z28 back in '82, broke in the engine and put a Comp 268 camshaft in it, Performer intake, non computerized Quadrajet and Cyclone headers. I've always had a fondness for the 3rd gens, and yours looks awesome. Bob

He helped me get the base so the car could go WOT, but it's at another shop now. I've been up there trying to help get it sorted. I think its ready to start WOT once we get a new belt in.

Sorry for the lack of updates! I have gotten a few more things done, the body is 99% done(emblems and paint touch ups left) and have been working on bracing the Supercharger. It's not quite as firmly mounted as I would like, so we are working for solutions on that. Then I have to get the tune worked on some more and paint touch-ups from dentfix. Hope to do a 9" and custom gauges over the winter....
