After getting the normal stuff back on I moved to the wings and flaps!

Rear diffuser installed

Front splitter on(Has 5-6 brackets behind it that hold it on....)

Installing the side skirts. they were riveted on before, BUT I didn't like that so we installed some riveted in threaded inserts that allow both sides to be easily installed or removed if need be.

Done

Overall on the lift, but done shot...

Coy(bananaman's son) and I made a bracket to bolt onto the supercharger and then bolt it to the Vortech to try and cut down on Supercharger movement. It helped, but we are looking at another option to add just a little more support. We also have a plate to put on the front of the blower pulley to try and keep it from walking off the front(even though we don't THINK it is....

Sorry for a couple blackberry pictures(Bracket is just installed. It will be removed for powder coating/paint soon )......

Couple updated shots from the Toys for Tots cruise-in.

Got the car back from Mayhem and have been working on the tune myself and it's going pretty well. I bad O2 was part of the reason I as having so much trouble with it! So, I'm going to do a little more then get it back to Mayhem and get it dialed in at WOT. Also, before that I want to make another brace. The one we have seems to be helping, but it still moves a little, so we are going to try and fab something from the bottom of the supercharger as well.

In other news for the Iroc I just picked up this COMPLETE LT1 T/A with a 6-speed. The 6-speed will be going in the Iroc along with a 9" rear!

I almost hate to take this car apart. Its a hard-top 93 T/A with 160k. It is original down to the airbox/exhaust/radio! Paint and drivers seat are a little rough, but besides a small skip sometimes(LT1s came with those from the factory) it runs GREAT!

Are you going to build the T56? I am looking for a reasonably priced LT1 T56 for my vette.

What O2 sensors are you using? I have had 3 bosch go out in 4 years in 22k miles. If pep boys didnt give me a lifetime warranty and it wasnt such an easy piece to replace I would switch to NGK unit.

I'm going to swap it as is for now since it shifts SOOO good and then remove it later if it gives me any issues. I bought the car as is, because I got a pretty good deal on it. Also, I have to change/convert a few things to get the 6 speed in here, so I wanna go ahead and knock that out asap, ya know.

yes, I am using Bosch(the one that is factory on newer Caddy trucks) and the one that came with the AEM wideband setup I have. it's amazing what a new O2 sensor will do!

Updates:

1) oil leak: was a hole in the oil filter from the slave bracket!

2) did a small photoshoot!

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...ot-inside.html

3) Pulled the T56 from the T/A. I need to save for a clutch/flywheel(special) and new hydralics now....

4)9" progress!!!! Exciting news here.

The lower control arm mounts has the 2 lower positions incorporated into them like the aftermarket relocation mounts. Shock mounts have a lower position also.

Finally, got a header leak9well a collecter and exhaust came unbolted leak, and get back to tuning. Almost have the SC braced enough and all the oil leaks fixed(Damned SBCs!)

Looking good, keep the pics coming. Any chance that little air filter is choking you at all?

I hope to get it back to the dyno again soon!

Here are a couple pictures from the show this weekend.

Wow! Such a great build! Awesome work!

Also, the last couple of posts of pics aren't working for me. Perhaps because I am on a work computer...

OK, they are working here. Recheck them and let me know so I can try and fix them! Could it be, because the last few are from facebook?

Few updates:

Got the car back from Mayhem(working on the tune). They also threw on a MSD Blaster HVC-2 Ignition coil and upgraded my fuel lines to dual 6an to the rails.

Tune is getting much better, so I have been fixing little things on it as time allowed and driving the car some.

Well, Saturday AM, I had my daughter and I hit it a little bit. I merged onto the highway and she said daddy, again, again. Of course I can't refuse that, so I put it in third gear and rolled into it. It popped out of third and something really let go in the T5. It still has every gear, but is making bad noises and at low speeds it "grabs" and stops the car.

Got bananaman and Coy AGAIN to come pick me up.

Thanks to Darren and Todd for the push. Todd, get the picture of us pushing it on the trailer.

So, today I will be ordering a large amount of parts from Spec and Moser to swap to a T56 and 9" rear.........................

I am about to start on my vette. 6 speed swap and ripping the engine/efi out to go ls1pcm coil on plug setup.

I would love to see what your car would make with a better intake.

$1000. I am spending a lot of money right now. I may upgrade one day.

Over 600 is plenty fun at the moment!
