Have any buddies with fast cars up there? A few good full throttle romps always motivates me to get back to it.

I thought about this but none of my friends have their cars out just yet. Either they are down for upgrades or they just dont want to take their cars out yet. Its still kind of winter here :p

Its about 35-40 right now. It doesnt get very cold in the winter here in Anchorage(10+), but if you go higher north it can stay about -30 all winter lol

And I dont know how you can deal with the heat in the summer down there. I like my 60-70 degrees :p

for someone whose summer temps only get 20* warmer, 40* should be just fine for rippin some gears.

After living in Delta jct/Fairbanks I dont know how you get into cars? I would have some turbo'd sleds. I live in Wyoming and its barely worth building my car.

Taking a break is a great idea, especially if the project is long and involved. When you start setting deadlines, it stops being fun. I know driving it is fun, you should enjoy building it, too!

some of these guys have no idea what it's like rolling around in a snowy driveway for 6 months working on your build. just remember the sweet ,sweet smell of tire smoke. hang in there dude. weather is just starting to brake in ny and i can testify it feels intoxicating to get back in the saddle.
