heard something interesting the other day and wanted to know if there is any truth behind it??

the guy that is building my engine heard from a shop friend of his that coils form the 6.0L or truck motors where stronger/better then the 5.7 car coils.

if anyone has head or can prove this let me know???

Long story short, if you already have the 5.7 coils, it's not worth switching.

Truck coils with the heatsinks are the best... the other truck coils are better than the LS1 coils, but differences between them are negligible unless you already have them, use them!

If you make making less than 1000 rwhp, stock LS1 coils are fine. They have been proven over and over and over to make great power.

It's the rectangular truck coils made by mistubishi that are the most desireable.
