My heart is no longer in it. I barely drove the car the last 2 years and I hate going to the race track here because it's a cluster ****. I just don't have any use for it any more and it's a liability to keep around due to something else possibly breaking, insurance, fuel, storage, etc.

I might be working outside the US later this year as well and have no place to keep it even if it does run. I have no ability to do any of my own work either. Use to love working on cars for a while, then began to hate it, then I got lazy, now it hurts too much.

Was a really fun street car that spooled super fast (about 1.5 sec from 20" vac to 15psi) with great street manners and AC. Hope I can find a good home for it, just need to figure out how to get the most money out of it.

I would not be in this situation if I wasn't forced into taking a 33% pay cut, but it is what it is and it breaking was just bad timing I'm worried about the future and having a job period.

If anyone needs an IT Manager, Admin, Engineer with 15+yrs experience, I'm looking. Willing to relocate.
I work in the field and I know what you mean man, I'm on the fence my self

Get $20K worth of insurance on it and set it on fire.

Having sold a few highly modded cars my advice is just sell the high dollar easy to sell/ship parts separate and sell the roller for whatever you can get.

Or just put it for sale as-is and see what the best offer you get is.

Man I'm sorry to hear about your misfortunes. I guess its better to sell it and let it go to someone who will appreciate it. I'd love to buy her and throw my combo in her. Good luck with selling her. I'd deff try to sell her as is first.

Over the years I've bought a couple of blown up performance cars specifically to part them out. I've always come out way ahead especially if I took my time selling the parts.

Motor that was in it is junked. Blocks cracked, 2 bad pistons, cam is most likely bad. Heads need to be checked but should be ok after a few valves, but they are just stock 317s and not worth much of anything so no money to be found there.

Just hard for me to spend the money right now. I also lack the ability to maintain it if it breaks, I made enough previously to get help when I needed it. Luckily it rarely broke.

Here are a bunch of pictures of my car and the fabrication that went into everything (especially the cage). I still need to get finished pictures of the interior with everything installed so you can see how it's basically invisible. It should certify to 8.50, but I can't guarantee it will. I had it installed to keep me safe on the street and the ability to certify if I wanted to race (one of the reasons there are so many pictures of the fabrication of it).
