Default Help With Belt Drive Fuel Pump & Balancer

Hey guys, does anyone make a bracket or kit to bolt up a belt drive pump to our cars? Also what will be the best balancer to use? ATI?

Thanks

Sorry, but I don't think anyone makes an LS specific belt pump setup.

I used an Aeromotive kit wit a BBC drive mandrel which shares the same bolt pattern as the ATI balancer.
The register will need to be turned down slightly to fit inside the ATI balancer as well.
I used a motor plate arrangement to mount the pump since the LS engines lack the myriad of mounting holes on the front of the block that the SBC's have.
Good luck.

So what happens if I don't have motor plates? Can it still be done?

For my initial mock up I used a truck style a/c bracket to mount the Aeromotive pump.
The pump bracket bolts will line right up with the holes for the a/c belt tensioner!
If you are running a/c this will not work obviously.
This interfered with my 2nd gen steering linkage, but it should work well in a rack and pinion steering setup like the newer fbody platform.

I don't recall the part number, but it is a regular f-body balancer.

All the pump belt drives use small cogs.

Is there any reason why a multirib belt cant be used ? The pump is hardly under that much pressure in terms of drive ?
