procharging my 5.3 in a couple weeks going to run it on e85 non intercooled want to run 12-15psi want to make 600rwhp or more should be fun

Finishing mine up as we speak.

5.3, hbeams, stock crank, wiseco's, gt4788 with race cover, rossler th400 w Neal chance custom converter, and moser 9".

Hoping to hit 1100whp, and I believe that'd b a record.

Does anyone know wht the record is?

See if we can't be the first to snap a crank in half >

Skinnies, have you ever run your car on 93 or just e85? I would love to get some hints as to the timing you are running!

My car has only been on e85, timing is important, but also a lot more to it than just timing in keeping these motors alive, we've definitely learned some tricks to keeping them alive. Mine is out of turbo or I would've turned it up more, if we can get time to work on our own cars instead of others, we'll be trying for 1000rwhp on a twin JY 5.3 this year!

I hear ya on that...my own personal car has been down for almost 3 years while I have done countless hours on other people's vehicles!

Sorry, 451 hp 502 tq, stock 5.3 6psi on eBay gt45 turbo. I am on mobile phone also and I can see signatures, didn't know you couldn't ha, hope in to make 570/625 tq with new custom heads and cam setup on same boost level

No, you turn the boost up. That's the whole point of a 5.3. With nice heads its not disposable.

well duh, i plan on turning the boost up, i am just saying i hope to gain 120+ hp at the same boost level with a new heads/cam setup
