Default What should I do with my LQ4

Hey guys. I just picked up an LQ4 short block and 317 heads and plan on building a turbo motor. Plan on getting forged pistons and rods with stock crank to hold around 600-700 hp. Any suggestions on which set up I should go with?

I had a 402 and it ran very well. Just don't plan on running too much boost because the block is known for pulling threads out of the head studs with higher boost and with only 4 bolts per cylinder. My 402 made over 700hp with less than 0 pounds of boost. I believe it was a bout 7-8 psi. Once we got it up to 14-15 psi, it made over 1000HP, but pulled two studs out.

Wiseco pistons and callies rods. I have two 370's one with a tc78 and the other we are still building. Stud the heads and mains.

Im not an expert but it seems like a lot of guys are running the t76 with 370's and getting good results. They run the pt88 on 408's

98z28cobrakiller on here has a 370 in his car with a 88mm turbo and he runs 8.90's. An 88 is pretty much a good match for a 370 and a 91 is more in order for a 408. You can go smaller on the turbo, which would be better for the street for easy spooling, but it will run out of breath on the top end.
