Last years goal was to run 9's, We did that with the S480 and about 8-9lbs on a 275. The bottom end had some issues so we decided to change it up this year and shoot for some 8's... Think we can get there? 88mm Garret T6 flanged 1.32 A/R, 408, LS9 heads, Virgina Speeds VTC-4 Cam, FAST XFI 2.0,CO2, TH400, 3.25 gears....
Here's last years setup

And this years version 2.0. We managed to work our butts off and redo everything in just a couple months. We will be hitting the dyno in a week or so and then hopefully some track days right when the temps start getting into the 90-100 degree range

Thanks man, it truly means alot! We are definitely ecstatic about it, as it's a legit "backyard build". I'm lucky to have some seriously bad *** friends that can help with some serious fab work....as long as i keep them full of dollar menu sandwich's and monster energy drink with a side of Bud light, hahaha.

Update: good news and bad news!
We put it on the dyno last saturday night and made 15 or so pulls in a valiant effort to get the fueling under control. Unfortunately, the injectors just dont have the steam to keep up with the new heads, cam, intake, and turbo we put on the car. We tried even cranking up base fuel pressure as far as 68psi just to see if we could get it dialed in on wastegate spring and it wanted to have nothing to do with it, we went to 100% DC by 55-5800 rpm. The good news is, even at that rpm, we were already seeing around 690rwhp on 10.5psi, so there's alot of power there as soon as we can fuel the thing! Not to mention we just left the water in the A2W tank(no ice added) IAT's were around 135 and the weather that night was around 88* and HUMID.
I can't wait for the LS Fest! I dunno what class it fit's into, but it's gonna be a blast...
Next step is some Atomizer 160's or 225's injectors and turn the boost up to 20psi.
I have some youtube video's of it if anyone can post them for me?! They are under Kate08C6 on youtube?

you'll like the atomizers...
I bought a set of the 225s for my turd.
for the vids, just need to post the youtube link and it automatically inserts the video. I did it for you.

I'm at a cross-roads with going to 160's or 225's right now. I feel like the 160's would be perfect for me on dedicated c16, but i really wanted to take a shot at running e85. I'm just concerned with e85 that it'll be at the limit's of the 160's all over again once we turn the boost up.
Side note-->Thanks for posting the links. youtube is blocked from work or i would have done it myself!

The upside, we made about 15 pulls all above 600rwhp, all in horrible conditions and the car never hiccuped once, got hot, leaked anywhere, had any issue's(other than wanting more $$$ out of my bank account, haha).
I'm lucky to have a great group of friends to be there to help with the car that night and to have Adam Jude there to help me tune the car (NMRA/NMCA/x275 racer)
