Default Carbureted, 11.3-1 compression and 7 lbs of boost. can it be done?

I have a LT1, Blow thru Carbureted, forged 383 shortblock, LT4 heads, and a front mount turbo

problems is, its 11.3-1 compression... and pump gas (93)

I do have meth injection

Would it be possible in ANY way to run 7-8 lbs of boost on 93 octane?

otherwise, ill have to switch to E85

You need to turn the timing up a lot, you're going to be melting **** and putting a ton of heat into your exhaust with such little timing.

I think it can be done on pump 93 because you are carb'd. The carb kinda acts like meth injection on an efi car, cooling down the intake charge before it hits the cylinders. I would make sure you turn the timing way down to keep detonation at bay and watch your tune. I would go no more than 6 psi though.

Back at the old EPP shop we did an APS turbo on an LS2/402 11.0/1 Firehawk. 93 octane and 100% methanol and it ran great at 7 psi. You have a wet intake manifold which will help, I don't see you having any problems once you get it dialed in. Bob
