Yep sure is Tracy. Those World ls7 six bolt heads flow a ton. Now that they changed to anew foundry I think they are holding up really well. I'm looking to put on larger turbos so it seems to never stop.

I'd look into TFS 220s or PRC 237s which are on sale right now. You could also check out the classified section and find something in there.

Do the PRC heads have a thick deck (.750)?
Yes, I'm also running through the classifieds.

Thanks guys!

Texas speed has their aftermarket version of cathedral port heads. They have a 215, 225, and 237 cc head. They're an aftermarket casting with thicker decks.

The more i research this head, the more i'm leaning that direction.... good price, good valve springs and thick six bolt deck... i'll call tomorrow to see if any wait time. Thanks and i'll update soon.

The only reason is my ls6 intake and throttle body. If i knew i would not have tuning issues with slapping on a square port intake and throttle body, i would consider the square port. I know nothing about tuning so that would be my concern because i have an SD tune currently....tweaking is fine but a wholesale change for my tuner would be costly and time consuming. thanks

I just ordered them. Thick deck and fairly inexpensive....i'll just crank a little more boost to equal the larger runner heads, lol. btw, the prc's 237's are out of stock until july and i'm putting the motor together now. Thanks phil and everyone's input!

They should work well. I'm sitting in a similar boat as I need new heads before I turn the boost up more as well. Make sure you post pics when you get them and let us know how it turns out. What head gaskets are you using? I'd like a little more info on andres's gasket setup.

The port velocity will be alttle sluggish because of the runner size of the heads. they would work if your not too much worried about ET. But for a ET car or track car you want the boost to come right up. We swapped the 235 on a 416 single 91 to 220 cast version and went faster. The dyno showed more midrange over the 235. Now Im not saying they wont work but huge heads with huge valves are some times over kill on smaller motors, It all depends on the use of it.

hey blue, i just received the Coopering gaskets from andreas. Very simple concept but i'm sure it took plenty of r&d to get it right. Here is the thread...the thread gets a little confusing because the older version needed the block machined and now with the newest version no machining is needed. They are not cheap UNLESS you want to make big power!! Mad props to andreas!

I think you made a wise choice. They can be ported and opened up to suit a much larger motor one day if needed. I'm guessing by your post you bought the 220's?

Yes, they TEA can run the TFS 235cc port through the 220 as cast head at a later point in time if you ever want to upgrade.
