Don't worry about that, you don't use the idler with our kit.
The kit comes with a set of rod ends and turn buckle style adjuster
that moves the alternator and tightens the belt.

Buy the kit without the belt.
The belt we supply with the kit is for a setup running PS.

ModularTurbo,
Do you know if any of your customers are running this with an ATI 10% pulley? Trying to see what belt I would need if I purchase. Thanks

We have customers using this kit with ATI and other brands of under drive setups.
Unfortunately I don't have a belt length for you.
Maybe someone will chime in and help us out.

If the quality of this is anything like the power steering relocation kit I got from you guys, I wouldn't give a second of pause before ordering this if you need it.
This is a great company to deal with and produces some of the best LSX products I've had the pleasure of using.

Yes, if you have an under drive setup you will have to provide the belt.
We sell the bracket without the belt for this reason.

Some are 10%, 25% under driven, some come with an alternator pulley some don't.
It's tough to keep up with all this.

I got a 145A truck alternator and used this Modular Turbo bracket. I have nasty nate fuel rails and just had to replace the passenger front rail fuel fitting with an NPT 90 to hose end fitting.

The bracket was well put together, seems really sturdy. Nice adjustable tensioner. No more belt squeal. So far so good.

I probably didnt need to modify the alternator back plastic cover but chose to for possible belt tightening.

14.0Volts FTW!! Nice work guys, thanks for the quick ship!

Would you happen to have the part # for this alt.?

Thanks!

If you go to your local auto parts store ask for a alternator for a 2001 Chevy Siverado
1500 with a 5.3L, Tell them you need the 145 amp alternator.

All Chevy trucks had the option available.

is there anyone running this with LS9/LS8 coil on cover valvecovers? I just bought some LS9 covers and planned to do this a while back but I am not sure about clearance now.

I don't see it being a problem.
