Hi Guys: You should post a link to this in the Hybrid and Conversions forum. This is just what A body and some G body guys need that have steering box interference with the stock Fbody alt. and bracket. It will save us a ton of money compared to other setups on the market and wiring troubles also. You could probably just use an older style small CS130 alt in place of the Fbody or truck one and just plug it in with the pigtail adapter saving the trouble of rewiring. Definately a good quality piece and shouldn't throw the belts at higher RPMs.

I have been sending eveyone asking me about Alt. relocation setups your way. That bracket is pimp.

My manifold market has dried up So to speak LOL. I will gladly go with that relocation braket though.

do you have proof of this. I have never heard of this happening? please post test results or case studies.

That plastic cooling duct is necessary for maximum life out of the alternator. GM put it there for a reason.

Any electronic circuit that lives in a hot, dusty, wet, and/or humid environment that has its foreign particle protection and its cooling system compromised is going to have a shorter life span than if it had these things in place.

Examples:
Xbox360's overheating causing red ring of death.
Desktop computers with clogged air vents.

I don't believe that a case study is required to make the statement that I made, but if you feel strongly that I made the statement in error I will remove it.

thanks for reading,
Rob
