Of course it has been tested, it is very strong and rigid with perfect alignment.

More pics added to the first page.

I have a standard truck ALT that I'm going to test fit later this week just to see how it fits.
As far as the bigger high AMP truck alt goes I don't have one to test.

If you will mail me yours and pay for the ride both ways I will test fit it to see if it clears and if the belts we stock will work. If it fits and clears it may need a different belt. If you want one I'll supply the correct belt for the same price.

Ok it's later this week, LOL!!!

I just got threw test fitting a standard truck ALT, it fits as good as the F-Body ALT.
It actually has more fuel rail clearance than the F-Body ALT.

Rob will have pic's up shortly.

How much without the Belt? I'm not running power steering so need a different length belt anyways.

Right now we have a belt for every kit.
I had to do lot of sweet talking and spend a small fortune to get the belts at a deal
to where I could make a few $ on the belt and not tear you back pocket off doing it.

The target customer is someone that needs to move there ALT and keep everything else.

On the next batch of brackets I will make a few extra with the right length belt for PS delete.

As far as I know no one makes a kit that is turn key.
You are left to go and buy something extra, belt, ALT, pigtail plug, or something.

Chris is working on PS kit.

Why would you mount it there and move the ALT?

thanks for the compliment.
Also it sits lower than the one you made.
It barely puts the Alt 2 inched above the oil filler cap.

Mine sits a little lower than this one but not much. I pivot the alternator off the right bolt hole on the cylinder head. You guys might not realize this but there is a lot of thought put into a relocation setup like this. I like the adjustable tie rod on this, I thought about designing mine so it used one.

It's about time people started marketing these,it's a pain to have to make your own. All a guy wants to do is bolt a turbo setup on, not have to engineer the whole thing. Good job guys, it's a great kit.

Thanks for your blessing.

You are right it took Chris an entire day to nail this down. It takes a good deal of thought to get everything lined up just right, while also accounting for belt tension and spacing for aftermarket fuel rails/valve covers etc.

I would also like to point out that I have seen ALT relocations where the rectifier bridge cooling duct was removed. This shortens alternator life and should not be done.

Nitrous383, Chris and I appreciate the kind words thank you.
