i just havent heard of it, i have been running without one since 2001, after i replaced my alternator when it had it one and went bad, and now no problems.

HI: Thanks for the quick response testing it out for us with the old school alternator. A nice 140 amp polished one would look good on that bracket plus they are cheaper than Fbody ones. Nice work and good luck to you.

Yeah I know.
It was laying around the shop so I picked it up, and it fit.

For a guy putting a LS in a older car or truck that had a CS130 from the start
it's plug and play.

To the group purchase guys:

I am only requiring 10 people not 15.
You have until the 30th of the month to get it nailed down, after that I'm sorry.

Got the (i think first bracket made)!

My mid 90's suburban alternator wasnt doing the job, voltage was always really low and my belt alignment wasnt very great.

I got a 145A truck alternator and used this Modular Turbo bracket. I have nasty nate fuel rails and just had to replace the passenger front rail fuel fitting with an NPT 90 to hose end fitting.

The bracket was well put together, seems really sturdy. Nice adjustable tensioner. No more belt squeal. So far so good.

I probably didnt need to modify the alternator back plastic cover but chose to for possible belt tightening.

14.0Volts FTW!! Nice work guys, thanks for the quick ship!

Yep you got the first one LOL
kick F'in *** I love those pics.

Also yes the rectifier bridge cooling cover does need to be trimmed in certain installations.

CBR Performance innovation + Modular Turbo customer service = F body excellence

How much power did you make on the dyno Friday?
What rpm did you take it too?

Was the belt supplied with the kit long enough for the 145AMP ALT?
I suspect it was not.
