Yeah, I was able to do it by hand...the second time. I tightened the bolt it hinges on down too hard and it made expanding the tensioner a bit difficult by hand. An ID10T error for sure.

How tight is "tight enough"? I never put much thought into it with the stock tensioner and just let it do its job.

I'll be ordering one of these next payday. Don't have a turbo yet, but belt squeal and power steering fluid drips are a problem. Great product!

Got mine installed, very nice and doesn't sit up as high as I thought. I used the cs130 alt from my old setup, went right on and is very well engineered...pic coming soon

I got my kit in the mail, and I'm getting ready to install on my car. All looks straight forward including the trimming of the plastic. Anyone who is iffy, this is definitely a well made kit!

Anyone run into any wiring problems? I'll be using as much stock everything as I can, any need to lengthen anything? Hope to have some pics sent up soon of mine when I finish

Well I tried to install mine today but I wasn't about to buy a new alternator to get it to fit. I was trying to replace my Speed inc unit but the alternator that the Speed inc unit uses is a mid 90's truck alternator and it wouldn't go without a spacer so I opted to just place the Speed inc unit back on.

I will have to grab a stock alternator or a truck alternator and get it on or just put it on the other car that is getting built.
