Default What heads for forged Ls1 with 15lbs boost

I'm currently rebuilding my 99 Ls1 with a forged bottom end including 9:1 blower pistons. I'm runng an EPP blower cam 232/240 .595''/.608 115. The blower is a Vortech YSi with 15lbs of boost and a water to air intercooler feeding a LS6 intake manifold. Question is what cylinder heads would you recommend for my setup? I've looked at Patriot stage III Ls6, Trickflows, and AFR. As of now the car has a Walbro 255lph in tank fuel pump and 56lb injectors. Do you think my current fuel system will keep up or do I need to upgrade? Also any idea on the power level my combo should make on 93 pump gas through a built 4L60E trans and Moser 12 bolt with 3.73's?

I don't think the single walbro will get you there, and I think you will have lean issues until you add another pump in tank or inline. You may be getting close to maxing the 56lbers out also if your trying to run 15 lbs on a YSi.

BTW go with the TFS as cast 215 heads. I don't think you will be dissapointed, and you can always have them ported and polished by a credible company like LPE, TEA, etc. etc.

He's already at 9:1 comp, 317 heads with 72 cc chambers will take the comp even lower !!
On a budget, some ported 243 s otherwise go some AFRs or trickflows etc with thicker decks.
Injectors will be marginal and your def gonna need more fuel pump, 15 psi on that mtr should be 700 rwhp +

Your going to need another pump and I would go with larger injectors now too. Mine are close to being maxed now on 13psi. I'm running the stage 3 LS6 heads now but I'm looking to upgrade to TFS, AFR's or 245 Edelbrocks.

Hopefully you didn't buy the pistons yet, until after you have decided on at least what volume head you want. Hard to pin down your desired compression ratio without knowing which heads you want.

317's are a great head for FI, otherwise if you already have pistons intended to give 9:1 with stock chamber size heads then I'd agree with 243's. Unless of course you want to spend the money on a thicker deck aftermarket casting.

For the gasket I used the GM LS3/L92 5 layer MLS gasket, part number 12610046.
