Default What plugs for ls3 twin gt35s

Hi I have a rx7 fitted with a stroked ls3 , et performance heads,fast intake,two gt35s 1.06 housings , I have run it on a dynojet dyno it is making 804bhp and 823 ftlb @ 10 psi but above that it is missing real bad , I think it is blowing he Sparks out. At the moment on ngk tr55 plugs on STD gaps , what houd I run ?

Are your valve springs good? I run ngk bref7's and gap to 24

As mentioned, gap them down quite a bit....025 would be a good start at that power level.

Those are some nice looking headers!

Valve springs are new duals it revs fine just not when under more than 10 psi , we all are sure it's plugs and they are STD at the moment I will get some more and close them up a bit,
Glad you like the headers they took for ever to do

I had the same problem at 15 psi. I was running ngk v power 9 gapped to 30. I switched to v power 8 and gapped them to 22.I havn't ran it again. Nice looking set up good luck

checked today and they are tr6 NGKs at 50" thou , I've got some 7s coming for daily driving and some 8s for dyne and speed days and I will gap them down to 22-25 and give them a go . Thanks guys

yeah they were WAY too wide and you were getting blowout. I always ran 7's at around .26-.28

I've always ran Autolite non-projected plugs with my ET heads with the gasket seal (you have the aftermarket ETPs right?)

they offer the autolites in 7, 8. 9, 10 and 11 heat ranges.

7 - AR3935
8 - AR3934
9 - AR3933
10- AR3932
11- AR3931

I ran the AR3933s (heat range 9), I'm trying out some NGK R5671A-10 now. Definately tighten up the gap ALOT. You might also want to consider upping the dwell time on the coils in the tune.

Thanks for the info guys , I have some ngk 9s coming , they are etp heads and I run aftermarket ecu which I can alter the dwell time , can't remember what it's set at but I will check . What time do you guys run ? .
