Default Thinking about going FI

As the title states I am thinking about making a move to FI. I currently have a N20 system on my car and I am getting tired of having to fill the bottle, or just not having the bottle when I need it out on the street lol.

So car spec as it sits now:
228/232 cam
AI ported 241 heads
Fast 90/90
Long tubes
Midwest 9" and other typical suspension upgrades
Stock bottom end
Usual upgrades to support everything such as fuel pump injectors ect.

Car ran a 11.01 at 128 on the spray. Dyno was 420rwhp NA, still have not done a spray pull. NA i trap around 116-117mph

I would like to try and keep what I can on the car when making this change. For price reasons I am looking at a procharger setup or a remote mount turbo setup. Procharger seems to be the better fit due to the mods I already have done to the car, vs the turbo setup. Though I do not want to rule anything out before knowing all the facts.

Due to the stock bottom end, boost wise I would think sticking to around 7psi would be my best bet. And I would like the option down the road to swap out the internals and up the boost. Right now I am looking for something to get me to where the spray should of gotten me to, 550rwhp range plus. I have no plans of making the car a track queen and want to keep it drivable on the street. From all the threads ive read though, it seems that once you get the boost going in your blood its hard not to want more haha.

So I am hoping to get some people with some experience under their belts to shine some light on my car and what would be the best fit for it. I tried looking for something similar to my build and only cam across someone with a procharger, none with a turbo. Also for a side note, I am no custom fabricator and this is why I was thinking the procharger kit or a remote mount kit would be the best bet for me and my ride.

If i missed something major please let me know I have never owned a FI car so if my questions seem out there just let me know hehe.

M6 or auto?

M6 car I would probably go Procharged. It does fit your current mods as well. You could really just bolt it on. Up to 60lb injectors and swap to a twin intake set up. Easy 550-600rwhp.

If you go rear mount turbo you will want to ditch your headers and go back to manifolds.

Ah yes the simple thing i forgot

Yes the car is a 6 speed.

Twin intake setup? Guessing the 90 is not good for boost then?

ahhhh lol that makes more sense. Right now I have a racetronix fuel pump in the car. From what I can gather on their website is 600 HP at 58psi. So that doesnt leave me with much head way room. Stupid fuel pump lol, but yeah sounds like the new setup would require stepping up to the twin pump walboros. I also gathered from my readings that the 60lb injectors should be what I will need. I left a message with my tuner to find out what he thinks about all this as well hehe.

Thanks for the input so far

Yes twin pumps and 60# injectors are a must. They may say that 1 is good for 600hp but that is NA horse power FI requires much more fuel

2 walbro pumps and a racetronix hot wire kit with boost activated Hobbs switch. Get ahold of Lonnie in the fueling section an he will get you squared away along with some bigger injectors.
