My car recently dropped on boost. Turned out to be a split silicon hose that opened up under boost. Couldn't tell unless the car was under pressure.

I also had an issue in the very beginning (2004) with my car collapsing inlet filters and inlet piping while under boost. Took me forever to find.

FWIW, I've seen a couple damaged superchargers on several track cars (no filter, sucked somthing in) and even with a badly beaten up impeller they still make boost.

PVC caps will work, you should be able to come up with something at a hardware store pretty easily. You just have to be able to drill and tap it for the valve. Bob

1st place I looked. The aluminum plenum weld. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

To the OP, good luck finding where your boost is. Maybe try what Bob suggested.

Finally have an update. However it ended up not solving my issue. After a discussion with Procharger we decided it would be a good idea to just send in the blower. Unfortunately everything appears to be fine with the unit. Looks like I'll be doing that leak down test.

I know it's stupid but have you checked to make sure it's the correct rotation blower? Was head unit purchased used or directly from procharger?

I'm sure they do. I sent mine in, because a grenade went off. It had a slow leak (drip). No oil. Kaboom!!!!

Procharger will not sell you replacement parts :-( I purchased ally mine frome superchargerrebuilds.com It's not extremely difficulty to do a rebuild but you really need to do your homework. I did mine over the winter I'm not going to lie and say I didn't f up a few times. It's a learning experience. But once you've successfully done it once it's a cake walk.

If it comes down to it I will figure it out, and make an instructional video. As long as it comes apart in a way other than shattered into a million ******* pieces I can put it back together most likely. 1600 dollars is enough to make me wanna try. If not...patch it up and send it to them.

NO ****! I paid less for my procharger than what it cost's to fix it. Maybe I should start reading up on how to rebuild one for the future lol
