Sounds awesome.

Do you think the FMIC is going to get adequate airflow?

I'm doing a F1a LT1 build sometime this year and have heard A2W ICs are the way to go since the nose of the LT1 cars are so enclosed.

Thanks man, I can't wait to finally start driving it again, soon I hope. I haven't paid much attention to anything on the interior quite yet, but I do have some good door panels for it I'm just focused on getting this thing to drive before anything else.

Thanks man!
O yea it should get plenty of airflow! I have cut open my bumper for this reason. but the stock bumper could use some more opening but I think it can grab air from the bottom any ways so I think it will work out.

Looks like you're gonna have your hands full with your build man procharger doesn't disappoint!

1/12/12 update

I finally dropped the car off for some tuning today. Now all I've gotta do is wait and see what the results are gonna be with this particular combo. If its not to my liking there is always option B, more part ordering!

The steam mod is just me not using the factory metal steam tube and doing away with the rubber seals that goes on each head. So I used some screw on fittings instead, and used a T fitting to get both lines to come together. The sensor is the Oil pressure that you see and water is the only thing that runs in the steam line.

I will get some detailed shots of everything that I did once I get it all done. I also made extra support brackets for the blower to prevent flexing. The procharger bracket alone has alot of flex to it. With the brackets I made it hardly moves now.

I've yet to see a Camaro/Trans Am with an F1-c or F1-r blower it should make ok power. I live in Tx and I had to keep my A/C no way around that one lol.

You mean you haven'tseen an R or a C on an LT1 camaro or T/A right? Cause me and a few others I know are running them on the LS motors. You did a lot of work and attention to detail is real good I have to give you props for all your hard work paying off and sticking to it as it can get frustrating and cause you to loose interest! Should make great power. Congrats!
