Default Going For Broke-n.....Twin Turbonetics T76 5.3

Decided I only live once. I had twin Turbonetics 60-1's but decided after seeing the HRM that why the hell not..... Very close to finishing.

I love seeing all the new builds with everyone and their mother turbo charging ls motors now-a-days. Reminds me of 4-5 years ago when everyone went N20 in a big push and now it seems to be coming back to the FI side of things.

Shortblock:
Stock crank
Stock pistons
05 later rods
Clevite H main and rod bearings
Senergy turbo cam (same one that came out of their 5.3 that made 700-817 HP)
LS2 timing chain
LS7 lifters
ARP head studs

Heads:
317's untouch except for
Lunati Gold valve spring kit

All of this is going into a 05 Silverado crew cab....

Nice, curious to see how this does, I'm building a similiar setup back in my rx7, twin tc76's on a JY 5.3 just to push the stock shortblock record farther into the 8's before I stuff in a big motor.

Those stock pistons are gonna crack. You wont even be able to push the setup.

.68 older Q trim turbines

Your my hope for pushing this 5.3 to its limit. Who would have know that a stock shortblock 5.3 would be the motor that would set that record.

The top deck of these thing are really thick. If your talking about the ring lands. Then?????? We will see.

Manifolds are custom made by a gentleman off of performancetrucks.net. They have been ceramic coated. Also bought a couple of military surplus heat shields that fit the manifolds like a glove to keep the heat down.
