Default making boost but still making power?

just finished my custom rear mount kit the other day and was out making some pulls in it, i have a 3.5-4psi wastegate on it, was gettin on it here and there in 1st and 2nd and i was making between 2-3psi it looked like on the guage with my wide band stayin around 11.6 give or take, now its a rather small turbo, but if im pushing 2-3psi into the engine am i still gunna be makin more power? car doesnt feel way faster or anything but yet havnt drivin it within a month since its been down till now, and its quieter, so cant really tell, was just wondering if this could be a factor, thanks

2-3lbs SHOULD add around 60RWHP.

ill get some pics up when i get home from work and on my own comp

its a 3inch comp inlet, 2 inch exhaust exit, .63AR exhaust .50AR comp side, T3/T4 flange, 2inch comp outlet, its 2inch to 2.5intercooler piping right off the turbo then all the way up to a 18x12 intercooler then into my TB, 44mm waste gate set to 3.5-4psi, hitting atleast 1-2psi possibly 3psi, hard to watch boost gauge, tach and street XD, also beleive i have soem exhaust leaks i need to patch up i plan on doing this weekend

interested on seeing how this works out cause that turbo maxes out at about 370-80whp with a 1.8 4cyl

Does that limit this car to that hp lvl or less cause its a bigger v8? And is that why the turbos super loud? And why it takes long to spool? Thinkin of gettin a 76mm turbo soon, should I get it asap if I want to contuie were I'm at now then?

That new turbo should get you 500rwhp with 8-10psi.

The 50 is alittle small for your app. 76mm will definitly work better ,, maybe even a 67mm with a .96 a/r t4

sorry for double post was on cell lol, and am i looking for a bigger AR more then anything then? if u guys have any recommended turbos feel free to post, not looking for any $600+ turbos but open to see whats out there, one i posted specs on above runs $325 new so lol

Mainly you need a bigger turbine(exhaust) side.

The compressor side could also be bigger to help out.

A/R plays a factor also.

I'd go for a MPT70, TC72, T76, in that order. The T76 will give you the most room to grow.

You can find used "big" turbos on DSM sites for sale fairly cheap. Big for those cars is usually in our sweet spot. I know I sold a super low mileage dual ball bearing 4088 for 700 bucks when I parted my Talon out.

heres a T76 i found, is the AR too high?, its 1.00, i plan on wanting to grow with this kit but dont want it useless now, heres the actual turbo

I'd go for the 1st one or the last one.

Forgo the 70mm if you can get the same deal or very close on the 76mm.

went ahead and got the T76 T4 divided, 1.00AR, see how this does, should i get a T4 divided flange or just a normal t4 flange?

Should I need any oil restriction or is -4 line to -10 return, I have leaky turbo prob lems atm too and don't want this to do it if its not the turbo
