Default What happened to LM Speed?

I wanted to look around on Ed's website to see what new things he may be working on and it doesn't exist under that name anymore.

Did they go out of business? Did I miss a memo?

Yeah I knew he had a few issues in his past. I had actually talked myself into going with him when I did my maggie but I couldn't get a hold of him the day I was ready to spend the money so I ended up going with MTI's kit. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that they did me way worse than Ed ever could have dreamed of.

For a while he had pics of a TVS blower on his site and some mentionings of making it fit an F-body. I like the idea if the MP122 as well but I think I will be looking at swapping over to a TVS the next time I redo my setup. I'm looking for around 800 hp when it comes engine swap time and I dont think the 112 or 122 will get me close to that even with heads cam and pistons.

FWIW I dont really think there was anything all that special about his maggie kit or MTI's for that matter. You were pretty much on your own for cutting the cowl and welding a piece back in. They did include frame spacers but anyone can make or get them made virtually anywhere and the only other piece that was somewhat special was the mount for the throttle cable. So really if you can source the parts for the 112, 122 or tvs I think you will be about as well off if you had purchased it from either company.

Back at the old EPP shop we helped out the customer who started this thread, and finished his Camaro for him. Bob

I speak from experience when I say he's a total dirt bag. He even hired someone to screen his phone calls so he could avoid talking to the people he was ripping off. I hope he's in jail with a rape-happy pervert for a cell mate.
