Motor running too hot

Motor running too hot 1994 Trans Am LQ9 stroker 8:2:1 compression eagle crank, scat H-beam rods, mahle pistons, dart heads, LSXR intake, D1SC pro charger 9 psi, intercooler, big stuff 3, turbo 400 3-speed transmission.
Car made 660 rwhp with 6 speed transmission. Runs great but I have a problem with temperature. Highway speeds running about 230-235, cruising in town I am getting about 260. I have 3 core griffin radiator. Single fan due to blower being in the way. Took out my fog lights for better air flow. I am still running too hot.
My radiator is from my LT1 setup which was reversed flow. Would that have anything to do with the temperature?
Any suggestions out there? Thanks in advance.

Have you made sure the fan is pulling air through the radiator, and is not spinning the wrong way? Bob

The last ProCharged car that rolled in the shop, I added a derale 10" fan to the upper driver side shroud, made it slightly better. 160 thermostat, slightly better. Lowered idle from 850 to 700, bam, idle overheating issue all gone. Make sure your fan shroud doesnt have any gaps where it meets the radiator, you need all the CFM you can get.

I had a similar overheating problem because I had air trapped in the cooling system. Jack the front of the car up a few feet, start the car and let it idle with the rad cap off until it reaches operating temp. Add coolant to the radiator and put the cap back on before lowering the front of the car again.
