Default Single turbo C5 build thread

Ok, people keep telling me to do a build thread so here it goes...

Car:
1999 C5
Old setup:
-LS6 Block
-GTP stg 2 heads with bigger valves
-Custom ground ED Curtis Cam(big)
Full bolt-ons(full exhaust, ls6 intake, vararam, etc)
Nic D Tuned - Aprox 430-445whp(never got a final #)

New Setup:
*ENGINE*
-2001 LQ4 Long Block with 317 heads.
-Stock pistons and rods with all new bearings.
+ARP Rod Bolts and Head studs
-Aftermarket Springs and retainers
-LS9 Cam
-LS9 Headgaskets
-LS2 C6 oil pan
-Ported Diablo oil pump
-LS6 intake
-Ported TB

*DRIVETRAIN*
-McLeod RST twin disc
-Monster Slave cylindar
OLD stuff being used
-Tick Master cylindar
-Tick Remote Bleeder
-DTE built rear with 342's
-DTE rear end brace
-300M Half Shafts
-LG Solid torque tube bushings
-Stock MN12 z06 tranny

*TURBO KIT*
Turbo kit is being built by AFI Turbo. It will be a nice big single setup forcing air thru the 6 liter!

*FUEL*
-91 octane
-60lb flow matched injectors
-Bosch 044 300lph fuel pump

The goal is to just use 91 octane and 12-14psi. Obviously it will be Nic D tuned. Im hoping to be around the 650whp mark. Fun times ahead!

I'll do my best to update this as I do work and receive parts. Any info/critisism is welcome.

Here is the nasty dirty engine bay. I have ordered some things to clean up the bay and make it look much nicer than before.

I would seriously consider Upgrading to the rxt over the rst...I know what it's rated for my friend ran one in his 630rw cobra and it started slipping... He upgraded to the rxt and is at 710rw with zero issues I also ran the rxt in my old set up making 730rw with zero issues. They rate their clutches at flywheel hp so while the motors out I'd do it because otherwise later on it's a pain in the ***!

Good luck man looking forward for some pics/vids
What turbo size ?? Nic D will get you over 700rwhp with safe tune his camaro is nasty.

Here is a pic of my single turbo on ZO6 I'm hoping for 680-730rwhp on pump gas and 850+rwhp on race gas/high boost.

Yea, Im not sure what turbo to run. I want 91 octane and 650-700whp. AFI wants to use a precision pt6765 but I am skeptical on the size for my goals.

Dang I even posted up a thread in there last week telling saying I am looking for a CCW Drag Pack set. I have not searched this week but I guess a few new sets popped up, thanks for the heads up. I almost had a really nice set but guess some guy paid more than what he was asking so I kinda got screwed. But I can't wait to see what your car does with the single. I am debating on what kit I want and if I wanna go twins or single on mine.
