Fastest 4.8

I see several turboed 5.3s running 8s at over 150.
After the Hot Rod 1200HP 4.8 story I was just wondering how quick and fast a 4.8 can be.

I don't think many people here have done any all-out 4.8 build but I think we will see a few shortly.

As far as I know there is a guy on here that has been 10.74 in a truck with a 4.8

and that was with stock untouched heads and only 14.2 psi boost.
people dont give the 4.8 the respect it deserves.

Thanks for the input, that's great numbers for a stock longblock of any size.
Who'd have thought that a basicly stock, under 300 ci engine could produce results like that?
Anybody else have results from a 4.8?
