Here is a video racing stangkilr this weekend hes on the board. He said he was on a 250 shot which is 144mph car for him. 2nd race was against maxxmitchell he's got a junkyard lq4 with a gt-88 on 24 lbs making some big power too. You ccan hear how fast his car gets into boost when he takes the hit then ya can hear my car even though I was brake boosting it was pretty much instant full boost.

Something seems off to me ... I understand E85 is a different animal and not all dynos are not equal but my 370 with twin magnum 76s made 1108rwhp on only 21 psi and 17* of timing on C16 through a 4400 converter and a powerglide.

I am impressed it took as much boost with no issue as it did but seems like it should have made more power to me for 24* and 29psi..... Made LOTS of Tq but hp seems off to me ..... Just my 2Cents

Cool build either way! wish I was closer to texas so I could come play.

Your twin 76's > his budget 88!
That being said I know a local 408/trickflows(not ported) that made over 1200rwhp with less boost/timing than you on 67's.

Yep the 76s will give you much less back presure. This reduce the exhaust manifold presure to intake manifold presure and thus allow the engine to breather better. Instant power increase (and why swapping out a housing give you more power at the same boost).

On the flip side, the twins will probably take longer to spool than the single....

Yeah I'm pretty sure he ran into a wall around the 1000hp mark with the exhaust housing choking him up.

Let's see some more "Mexico" videos. I've got a GT88 and a KYTP kit begging to put on my car. This thread gives me motivation!

He was gaining around 30rwhp per lb up to 22lbs, 15rwhp per lb up to around 25lbs, and up to 29lbs only around 12rwhp per lb, definitely running out of turbo!

That's not hard to believe at all. My stroker with a 100shot would outrun a stock busa with pipe and power commander. So I don't see any reason why another couple hundred horsepower wouldbt hang with a turbo busa.
