I never said E-cutout....also you could get an egay Ecutout, pull off the electric motor, and fab up a bracket and use a wastegate actuator....viola! boost activated cutout, but still sleeperish.

IT works awesome....releases basically instantly. Only works in manual low (great for my daily driver, no accidental engagement).

Jake makes the best transbrake bar none for the 80e. This thing sets fast and doesn't rock back and forth in the beams( I know this is more of a builder related issue dealing with clearances, but can be valve body related) and I can consistently let off of the t brake button on the second to last yellow on a full .500 tree and cut .115-.190 r/t's consistently all day long. I also love the way it shifts 1-2 it might be quite firm for some people but I love it. This things shifts so hard 1-2 sometimes it chirps the tires out of the groove on the track.

good news short block is done!!

so since we are talking about trans brakes does anyone have any idea how i should set the car up for the track. i have strange SA coil overs, drag bar in the rear, the usual bolt on suspension mods. stock spring and stock shocks in the rear. with moded rear shock mounts. i run 325/50/15 mt drs. not looking to have a trans brake this year but i still have my 2-step and the foot brake lol. any help would be great. ill post pics of the build when i pick it up. thats looking like next week.

You can tie your two step into your footbrake with a brake pressure switch or into your line loc for building boost once the staging lights are lit. If your run on a full tree you'll probably be able to spool twins easily, pro tree will be harder.

i got that part covered its how the car reacts to it is what im worried about. but i sent out the converter yesterday to be restalled to 3400 which i should of done weeks ago. way to suck. so im hoping that will chill the car out at the line. it made boost so fast with the last motor. it was almost to hard. now i got this 402 which should spool things even harder

Damn dude, not only a bad *** shop, but you have a LIFT!!!

Can I move in? I can put an air matres in there somewhere, mini fridge, and when your wife goes to work I can eat inside and take a shower in there, and sneak back to the shop before she gets home and help you work on the car! Hell yea!
