The interior and gauges still need finishing up, so it's not totally done yet. Also can't decide if I want to learn to tune it or have someone else do it.
On one hand HP Tuners Pro is $600... a one time tune is $400 and it's 3 hours away. Seems like I'd be better off learning myself...

Tuning a forced induction engine is much harder than tuning an N/A engine, it is very easy to crank a ringland on a piston if you don't know what you are doing. I recommend you have it tuned by someone who is experienced in tuning LS forced induction engines.

Tuning a forced induction engine is much harder than tuning an N/A engine, it is very easy to crank a ringland on a piston if you don't know what you are doing. I recommend you have it tuned by someone who is experienced in tuning LS forced induction engines.

So this was starting to seem like a never ending build due mostly to time constraints, but miraculously I've got my ducks in a row and am ready for a test drive next weekend. Here is how the car is looking right now. The only thing left is routing the shifter cable (which will be a chore).
I'm not sure how that filter will do but I'm going to try it anyway.
I bought HPTuners Pro and have a really good base tune to start with, so I'm just going to teach myself the rest.

I'm not sure how that filter will do but I'm going to try it anyway.
I bought HPTuners Pro and have a really good base tune to start with, so I'm just going to teach myself the rest.

^Thanks guys. I put most of the interior together. First drive will be this weekend after putting in a new master cylinder (it's leaking). Also need to figure out a shifting problem but I think it's just cable adjustment.

Haha thanks, I love the exhaust personally and in driving it the little I have it's really not loud. Definitely no louder than the car was with a cammed LS1, long tubes, x pipe, and 2 Magnaflows.

Well, the car is finally "done" and is now my daily driver... until summer is over anyway.
1 of my 2 Walbro 255s is dead so when that arrives Wednesday I'll get cracking on the tune. Right now I have about 500 street miles on it. No problems other than it loves drinking E85.
I went out last night and snapped some pictures right before sunset. I have to say, I am very, very happy with how everything turned out. Other than needing some ducting for highway driving and adjusting the rear suspension, there's nothing left to do.
Once the tune is done I want to get to the track and see what it does.

Oh yeah and I weighed it on a semi truck scale. 3,000lbs even. That's with me in it (165lbs) and a full tank of gas (102lbs). This scale rounds up to the nearest 100th, so I'm guessing it's more like 2,700-2,800lbs or so.

I joke I joke… Glad it didn’t hurt anything major! The 450lph ethanol walbro pumps just went down in pricing again. ($154 shipped on ebay I believe) May check those out. I know a few people that have had issues with the 255’s in ethanol. Mine worked fine for 2 years or so… May have just gotten lucky. 1 450 may even support what your throwing at it currently.
A fuel pressure cutoff switch may be a good idea too. That way if your pressure starts to drop you can cut the ignition, or cut the fuel completely to avoid leaning out.
