Edit: Mixed up threads and respones.

I think it would be awesome to see what this car could do with something like automagic's setup!

With some small changes and more track time I think this car is really going to move out. To make one pass and click off a high 8 second pass is seriously impressive.

lol, no. The motor getting louder is when the additional boost is ramping in or the car building 14 psi on the brake with no 2 step. Depending on what you are hearing there.

No, it is a stock motor. Only thing I did was valvesprings, pushrods, and arp head bolts. Thanks.

wow on both counts.

i thought for sure that was a nitrous assisted pass. now though youve got me bench racing again. you said 20+ psi to reach 120mph at 3500lbs.

a stock 5.3 makes about 300, lets say 325 in drag race trim. it takes about 900 to go 120 at your weight. so you must be pushing close to 30psi boost. is this correct?

Really fast To give you an idea on maxx's JY setup we were probably making over 200rwhp more than I was on my 8.9 pass. I'll have to spray mine to get the power him and you are making, my lil 76 won't keep up with you big turbo guys.

My turbo is rated at 40 more crank hp then yours? You just have to run a 4.8 to keep the BP down.

You have a gt47-88 right? No way you can compare my 76 to that turbo on a ls motor.

What size exhaust housing on the turbo? Seems to spool really well on a 5.3.

Gotcha, I thought you already had the 88. I really think a 88 will be opitimal for a stock shortblock, I am going to see how next passes go with mine and then see how much we want to spray it. I just know the 76 won't be enough to really push the limits.

You are a giant waste of my time, I don't care about you or your car at ALL. You guys came here, backed out of racing in pinks as you were scared to lose, then on the street made up every excuse in the book why you couldn't race the s10(tires low, out of nitrous, low on fuel...which he gave ALL of this to you), finally after 3 hours of bitching you guys finally agree to a race with my daily driver, then the cops show up. You only would race the slowest bike there, then don't even flag it off, just take off before he even is ready, it was a laughing matter watching you guys that night.
