i believe the LS2 vette kit is available already. figured if the maggies that were made were modified vette kits then i would assume it wouldnt be to much of stretch that minor mods will b needed. so get a crackin and put ur 112 on ebay and craigslist

Here again is a perfect example of why a "kit" may not be the best solution. Many 4th gen guys are using LS3 style heads. So what heads would the kit be made for?
If I was at Whipple I would take this slowly and offer the an a la cart selection of parts that would allow people to put their own systems together. Offer the 2.9L supercharger with both the LS3 and the cathedral port intakes that have the proper spacing for the 4th gen f-body accessory drives. The only development work that would be needed is to figure accessory drive arrangement. From there people can piece it all together.
Of course all this would require cutting the cowl, but I think people are willing to do that.

You have a point but I think if they did make the kit it would be for the standard cathedral port heads being that thats what these vehicles came with. Thats why there will be a 5th gen kit and a fbody kit because they expect 90% of people with these cars to have the standard cathedral heads. Now for the guys that switched to the ls3 heads I guess they would just have to switch back if they really wanted this kit.

The 5th gen kit has the LS3 style intake ports and the spacing of the balancer is different from the 4th gen.

Why? Many states, besides California of course, have gone away from visual inspections for OBDII vehicles. All you need is to make sure that there are no codes. Many states don't even have a sniffer anymore.

i know, good ol' california is stupid. I live here, and I whipple is down the highway. do they need to do a 50 state legal kit? imo no. but all their kits asside from tuner kits and sand rail are 50 state or pending.
