Old F-bodies never die. They just keep getting handed down. This should be a fertile market for years.

There's always a need for new options! I'm looking at options now for my GTO and it seems like the field is perpetually narrowing everyday. I look forward to seeing a production kit for my ride one day!

Do you have a mark up of the S/C yet? Hows the fitting going to be?

I hope this thread doesn't end up like the other F-Bod PD blower threads........

into the depths of the archives never to be seen again.

I had to buy a whole new car to get a PD blower.

I voted yes! I'd love to pull my engine, throw in some low compression pistons, and have a wippled 416!

+******* 1.

I'm going FI next year, and don't have the fabbing skills for a turbo build, so if I have a choice between a Procharger or a Whipple, I'll be buying the Whipple.

I worry about that too but I'm keeping my hopes up for a little while.

I agree but hopefully this happens, lot of F-Body/TBSS/GTO potential buyers. A H/C/Whippled TBSS would be so much win.

Alright Guys. This is good. 198 YES and 6 F-ing NO's (For some damn reason!!!!). I was not able to get on here yesterday but sifting through some of your PM's and post's here, here are some answers.

The higher ups are really surprised at the interest. They did not think there was still so many people interested in this kit (though I have been telling them for years).

Fitment: Not sure on fitment yet as we have not actually started the project yet but I will update all of you when we get the CAD data done and figure how (if possible) we can squeeze it in there.

Pricing: Price will be comparable to the Gen 5 kit as, for the most part, it is the same kit. Just some bracket, fuel, and tune changes (I hope). The Gen 5 kits retail for: $7500 black/complete, $8000 polished/complete, $6900 black/tuner kit, and $7400 polished/tuner kit. We also offer custom colors starting at the polished prices.

Hope this helps for now. I have received a lot of PM's and emails from you guys and I want to assure you that I am working hard to put this into play for you.

I know it is expensive to most but when you look at what you get in the kit, it all adds up. That and the fact that the 2.9 front feed is the most expensive blower we make. Cant really go that much cheaper on the retail side.

Mike has a point. you get what you pay for... Same idea in spending 1200 for patriot heads or 2500+ for tfs/afr's.

I'd pay the 5th gen Camaro price of $7,299 for a kit. That's only $1,000 more than what ProCharger wants for their D-1SC.
