Looks beautiful Mark/IPS!

Are you guys planning on using any of the "heat shielding" similar to the design Nick Yoskin installed on his? Seems like the cold side (I.C.) would benefit from the hot side being covered or maybe even the hot and cold side...

I like how you kept the intercooler in the engine bay. Very impressive setup.

I hope it lives up to expectations.

We are planning on coating everything at some point, but it will only get so hot in 7 seconds.

I'm guessing the engine will cooled via an ice/water reservoir.

We are actually going to remote mount a radiator and have a backup system coming from the ice box....

Looks killer, what are you going to do to keep the heat from the exhaust out of the intercooler?

Gunna be a lot of heat from those headers tho, any reason why you didnt put the IC in the passenger area or did I miss something about that? I like it in the engine bay but its gunna be a tight fit for sure. Good luck with the build Mark.

Granted the engine is going to run a little before he runs, but in total the engine probably runs for what, a minute or two at a time since he is no longer going to be driving it on the street. It's not gonna get very hot in there even if he doesn't do a heat shield or anything.

We put it in the engine bay to allow for the system to pressurize quicker... I wanted to do anything I could to increase spool time and since we won't have an extra 6' or so of piping to pressurize I think it will make the system more effecient. I also wanted as few bends as possible on the system.

Much of this design was done in collaboration with people that know a LOT more than me... Ultimately we are hoping to make this system work as well as it can.
