Glad you guys finally became a sponsor. My apologies for bashing, just got a lil impatient looking for a company that can help VORTECH owners step up the game and not have to ditch their entire setup. Been contemplating upgrading and staying VORTECH but options were limited....

Thanks. We still offer our bracket upgrade for the g trim. I have seen 100hp gain at the same boost level using a t trim. Not sure why vortech used that supercharger that was designed for a 5l or smaller engine.

Sorry again if you tried to get ahold of us and i did not get back with ya.

If you can, save up a little more and do the ysi. I started out with a g-trim then went to a t-trim and am already wishing I would have went straight to the ysi.

I don,t remember exactly, but around 560rwhp The tuner said he thought it would probably be in the 600 range but at 15lbs the blower was working to hard and heating up the intake temps and pulling timing. Forged 347 with a Epp blower cam and ls6 intake. I could probably go with a bigger air to water set-up like transamatts and get the meth straightened out and that would help alot

I had belt slipping issue, i installed SDCE bracket and no more belt issues but i got all kind's of alignment problems now when motor is running it goes on one side when motor is off it look's like is off little less and it makes annoying squealing noise.
I was thinking to go to a cog set up but with procharger D1SC i don't have much options and it is time to go bigger not happy with 660 rwhp

Ysi is efficient as it gets in its respective class.

Here is some dyno graphs of before and after. The car is a 2002 Trans AM. 383 Stroker, TEA Trick Flow heads. This is with the G Trim and the Trim.

All that was changed in these two graphs was the supercharger.

This kit will clear the Ram Air WS6 hood and will clear VFN Cowl and Ram Air HO hoods from SLP for the Camaro.

Here is some pics of what comes with the T Trim Upgrade.

Alright damn it, no Christmas for the kids n wife, dad wants a new toy. Just out of curiosity, how much is the T-trim kit? I am curious what the pulley combos were on the two diff head units and if the crank pulley is the stock VORTECH size. I am guessing the elevation there is roughly 6000ft above sea level, what would the diff in boost be if close to sea level?

We are running the original crank pulley from Vortech. The G Trim dyno #'s are with a 2.75" SC pulley. The T Trim are with the 2.95" SC Pulley.

Here are some pics of this kit installed. Also shown is our optional 3" intercooler mod and Vortech Race bypass valve.

PM'ed you on prices.

Mike with 80T crank pulley and 28T blower pulley i will be getting max boost what size of a injector you guy's run with this set up ?
If I order 30T and 32T just to have option to change my boost level do I need to order belts or 28T belt will work with your YSI set up ?
What kind of boost should I have with 28T
Thanks

I made 754rwhp with my old custom YSi kit, I forget if that was with a 2.90 or 3.12 blower pulley. I was running a little 8:1 348 so that was at 21 psi. I went 9.4@143 @ 680wrhp and 18 psi. Loved how that combo came off the 'brake. I think for next year I have decide whether the next project is all motor or FI.
