aint that the gd truth.
hey I was thinking about this - I saw an improvement in iat temps by using cold water vs room temp water, so you might try using water as cold as possible next time out for your water injection. maybe put in some ice cubes in the water before you make a pass. who knows, it might pick up some ET.
not that it is slow right now.

I've I only gotten to take it to the track once, and it went 7.3 at 96 with a borrowed carb. My PSI harness and ECM just got here, so I'll be swapping to a fuel injected setup soon. I also picked up a hotside for it so I can try to catch up to some of you "race cars" lol

Im hoping it picks up a little with the swap. I also wanna try out a trans brake. It would only pull a 1.7 60'.
Ya, 20mph is wild in the eighth. I would have to say that yours having a/c is the best part.
Im sure your ready to see what it will do with the glide.

little update:
got new driveshaft made, 1350 3.5" dom from ft. worth gear and axle, went with strange 1350 slip yoke and strange 1350 pinion yoke (saddle type), here it is compared to the stocker i was running.

got the mikes trickshift glide, installed it, got my speedo gears out of the 350 and got that all working, wired up the t-brake.
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f208/jkarger/265be99c.jpg)
bought another innovate wideband (for tuning the vette) and it came with a gauge, so since I am all out of real estate I took out the defroster switch (my column has hazards on it), and made a plate for the hole, then wired up the gauge to it. looks good and is very visable.

Hopefully I'll be out testing it this weekend. I got a bigger trans cooler for it and am running stainless lines to it, my shipment with the lines fittings doesn't get here till tomorrow so with any luck I'll finish it up tomorrow night.

got the glide put in and went out to the track with it and got a couple of the (terrible) runs uploaded.
here is my buddy doing his best "told you so" (this was just after he was telling me the way I had my 2 step wired (through a separate switch from my tbrake) was not going to work), needless to say he was right (as always). i didn't let off the 2 step at the exact same time as the tbrake like i planned and the car did a very odd stumble out of the hole (run was obviously trashed) his expression is probably the same one he makes every time i ask him a question.

then i went for another pass after i rewired the 2 step in the staging lanes (not the best thing to be doing as you are 5 cars back, but oh well). this fixed the stumble out of the hole, but i left with literally no boost, car fell on its face with the 1.76 1st and no boost. 60' was like a 1.9 and per the log i didn't get full boost until after the shift to high gear.

the next run i decided i'd turn up the 2 step and let it build some boost before i left, well, everything went as planned except traction. believe it or not this was the best run of the night at 6.2, listen close and you will hear 7000rpms on a stock lsx longblock w/boost. spun hard as hell.

the last run of the night i didn't get a video of, i was on the brake and moved my hand to get a better hold of the shifter and let off the brake before any of the lights dropped (we were both staged), car spun anyways but felt strong as hell up top (log shows i let out at 124mph (normally i am letting out around 120 per the log).
here is a little hit from in car, my buddy wanted to go for a ride

looks like i need a good co2 boost controller and/or some slicks to put this baby deeper into the 5's. was hoping for a better show first time out with the glide, but i think the glide wants more out of the hole then the th350 did and with that comes the need to better moderate the boost on a 275 radial. looks like i'll be buying a boost leash 2 or a ams1000 sometime in my future.

Do you have adjustable shocks in the front and rear? I think I asked you that before. It sounds like it built boost pretty nice! I think the hit can be made softer and ramp it in with what you have now by messing with timing some more and then when you get the boost controller go back to the old table and use the controller to manage the power. Still might need a touch of timing taken out in a spot or two if the track is greasy and slippery.
